AI reports

Your day in the field, explained clearly

At the end of the day, Montered tells you in three lines which dog strayed, which one stopped and what's worth checking. The system calculates the numbers; the AI only explains them.

I want the reports

What the reports look like

Illustrative examples with simulated data. Real reports come from the collars, the devices and the sensors.

Driven huntExample · simulated data

La Umbría driven hunt · 14 November

Summary: 11 dogs from 2 hunting packs, from 8:40 to 14:05. All of them finished inside the hunting area except Tizón, who ended up 2.6 km past the boundary, towards the stream.

Long stops: Canela stood still for 12 min at 11:32 near Wolf Ravine: possibly holding a boar at bay. Worth checking on her.

No signal: Duque sent no position for 18 min from 12:10, most likely because of the ravine. He reappeared 400 m away.

To check: pick up Tizón at his last position; check Canela for injuries; put a repeater on the hill by stand 6 next time.

Hunting packExample · simulated data

Los Barrancos pack · season

Effort: over the last 4 hunts, Lucero works the hardest (an average of 21 km per day); Trufa drops from 17 to 9 km in the last one.

Battery: the collars of Canela and Duque finished below 25 %. Charge them before Saturday.

To check: Trufa's drop could be tiredness or some discomfort: keep an eye on her and, if she limps, see your vet.

Family dogExample · simulated data

Toby · this week

Escapes: Toby left the safe zone 3 times, always between 7:00 and 7:30, and came back on his own in under 20 min.

Which way: all three times he headed for the river path, about 200 m away.

To check: he probably gets out through the same spot in the fence, on the path side. Worth a look.

Farm · coming soonExample · simulated data

El Robledo farm · water

Troughs: the Pond trough drops by 30 % a day on average; with the heat forecast, it would run dry on Thursday afternoon.

Something odd: the North trough lost 15 % between 2:00 and 4:00 with no animals nearby: possible leak or a stuck float valve.

To check: refill the Pond before Thursday and look at the float valve on the North trough.

How it works, and what it doesn't do

  1. The devices send positions and readings by radio to the receiver or the farm antenna.
  2. The system calculates the exact data: kilometres, distance from the starting point, stops longer than 3 minutes, stretches with no signal and battery. No AI is involved here.
  3. The AI (Claude, by Anthropic) writes it up for whoever will read it: the hunt organiser, the pack owner, the farmer or the family.
  4. You decide. A long stop is a «possible hold», never a fact. The AI is not allowed to make up data or give veterinary advice.

Privacy: the AI only receives the day's statistics (distances, times, device positions and their names), never your personal data. Reports are optional. More detail in our privacy policy.
