Driven hunts · for the organiser

20 stands. 2 packs. One map.

The montería is the Spanish driven hunt for big game: hunters wait on numbered stands while hound packs work the covert. With Montered you see every stand, every dog and every beater live, with no mobile signal. You alert every stand with one button. And no fees, not per stand and not per hunt.

  1. 07:45 · Placing the stands

    Every stand, in its place.

The line captains place the hunters and the organiser sees all 20 stands on the map. If one moves, you'll know.

  2. 09:30 · Release

    In go the packs.

Every dog, with its trail. And the beaters on the map, too.

  3. 11:40 · In the covert

    Nobody gets lost.

If a dog leaves the covert or stays still too long, you see it straight away. And when it's over, you know where to pick it up.

  4. 13:30 · Alert

    “Hunt over”, to everyone.

One button and the call reaches all 20 stands at once. No shouting, no whistles, and every stand confirms it got it.

Why organisers want it.

A

Safety

Know at every moment where each stand and each beater is. A hunter out of place is a risk to everyone.

B

Smooth running

Faster stand placement, one alert to everyone at once, and picking up the dogs knowing where each one is.

C

Hunters who come back

A well-run hunt shows. And the next day, the hunt report to send to your guests.

Try it on your ground.

We're looking for driven-hunt organisers to test it at real hunts in Spain this season. The first on the list will get to try it before anyone else.

Does it work with no signal?

Yes. The units talk to each other by radio, like a walkie-talkie, without any phone masts. The organiser's phone is just the screen.

What about deep ravines?

Range depends on the terrain. A repeater placed on high ground covers the whole covert. This season we're measuring it at real hunts and we'll publish the results.

Is it legal? Do I need a licence?

In Europe it's legal and needs no licence: it uses a licence-free radio band (868 MHz) and stays within its limits. The final product will carry CE marking. Other regions use different frequencies, so we can't promise it outside Europe yet.

Is it only for Spanish monterías?

It's designed around them, but anything with stands, dogs and people spread across rough ground works the same way: driven boar hunts, beats, large estates.
